To start with I'm a very avid gamer from xbox to pc games, online and offline. I play several mmorpgs. I also play this one browser game called Seafight. On all the games I play the free variants. Like I said, sometimes I get jealous over players who pay to get ahead. two weeks ago I attempted to download a cheat engine for the game. I couldn't get the file downloaded pass the antivirus. I have Avast antivirus. The free version. Not only did I ot get the cheat engine up and running, I cut off the antivirus for 20 minutes. I'm thinking within the 20 minutes a virus or hacker got into my computer and ruined my operating system. I have a Windows 10 Home OS. I bought the Toshiba 64 bit laptop from Office Depot about 4 or 5 years ago. The laptop originally had Windows 8 but over the years I upgraded to Windows 10. Now advance options are inaccessible and I can't even reset. The system is glitchy. I now have two options. I have two flash drives. One has Windows 10 Update (my attempt to repair install) also don't know what I'm doing and on the other flash drive I have a ISO Linux Lite. I've never really used anything other than Windows. I can't repair install Windows or install Linux without bootup options. I cant get boot up options. I've tried the hod shift and click restart and tried the 'run' option of forcing shutdown.
